← Older: AC/DC at the Hammersmith Apollo
AC/DC’s stunning concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in London’03 marked the beginning of my concert photography carreer. Equiped with a Canon G3 and a perfect standing place I was able to cover the entire show from right in front of the stage.

Hole Full of Love featured as special guest at the season opening party of Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion.
SAGA at Centralstation, Darmstadt
I did not really know what to expect from this gig. The last time that I saw SAGA in concert was in 1985 at the first Rock am Ring festival in Germany. The band was at their height of success performing in front of 75.000 fans.
This time, 21 years later, they were to play a rather small gig at the Centralstation in Darmstadt. The venue was sold out and packed with an eager audience. To my enlightment the band put an awesome show to the floor. Ian Crichton is still hot on his guitar while his brother Jim lays down the rhythm on the bass guitar. Jim Gilmour does some real magic on the keyboards. Accompagnied by an impressive light show Michael Sadler’s perfromance on the vocals was more than spectacular. His personality combined with his flaming eyes and a sweat dripping bold head made up for some awesome pictures. Some of them even made it straight to the official SAGA website while Robtech created some great CD cover art with them.
