One of the first concerts I ever went to was Miles Davis’ show in April 1982 at Frankfurt’s Jahrhunderthalle. My dad had started introducing me to the magic of rock concerts (Frank Zappa, Queen!) and know gave me an insight into Jazz’s top act.
29 years later I was back at the Jahrhunderhalle: this time roles hat changed! It was my turn to introduce my own children (9 and 6 years) to the world of live performances! They were all excited about the evening and the first real concert they were about to attend. Since I am well acquainted with the band MerQury and have shot many of their shows previously we had guest cards for the entire family. When going backstage saying high to the musicians and having a close up look at the stage my children were beaming!
The evening turned out to be a full success. The music was great! My kids really enjoyed the show and especially the band-audience interaction during “We Will Rock You” astounded them. Meanwhile I was able to take some great pictures with my Nikon SLR from any location I could dream of …

Hallo Timm!
Sehr schöne Bilder vom Klassical. Für mich als Lichtmann sind besonders die Totalen interessant. Danke für die gelungenen Blickwinkel und Momente:-)
